How to Change Your Address in IGNOU Online?

Recently, IGNOU has provided the option to apply online for a change of address, regional center, as well as a study centre. Candidates must log in to their portal, which is www.ignou.samarth.edu.in/index.php/site/login. After login, apply online for the same. If the student is successful in applying to change their address as well as RC and SC, it could take up to a week to update the website.

How to Change Address in IGNOU Offline?

The following are the below instructions to change your address offline.

  1. After taking admission to Ignou, you will receive a programme guide along with the study material. Find the address and name correction proforma in the programme guide.
  2. Once you find it, fill it out and send it to your regional center, which you have selected at the time of admission.
  3. After sending the proforma, wait for at least 4 to 6 weeks for the correction of the address.

Things to Do After Submission of the Application

After submitting the form, keep checking the student portal to see whether the address has been updated or not. The correction or change is updated after the verification of the correct documents. Students are asked to check their admission status at IGNOU to determine the revisions that they applied for.
